Our Team

The Joseph A. Gilmore, Sr., Adult Day Center staff are experienced and well trained.  Our dedicated staff, including the Medical Director, Registered Nurse, Licensed Social Worker, work together to provide social, health care, and recreational services to assist adults with a variety of physical, social, and emotional needs.

We Strive To Provide The Best Services With Care

Core Services

• Door-to-door transportation services
• All clients automatically enrolled in the Maryland Nutrition Program sponsored by the U.S. Department of Agriculture; food preparation daily on-site
• Medical services as proscribed by client’s primary care physicians, medication management, vitals, etc.
• Provision of activities designed for older Americans and administered by “skilled faculty”, SAGE at the Prince George’s Community College
• Custodial services provided by skilled licensed staff, Certified Nurse Assistants (CAN/GNA); supervision by a Registered Nurse
• On-site “memory loss” clinic
• Supervised client bathroom breaks
• Monthly staff training by the Prince George’s Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association

Ancillary Services on-site

• Physical therapy/ Occupational therapy; consultation on personal/oral hygiene, cardiovascular, pulmonary, speech
• Bi-monthly on-site barbering & beautician services
• Annual Flu Clinic sponsored by Rite Aid RX
